Nesch performing at Schmid Hansl
Part I of a looong Music Weekend
DISCLAIMER: In this post there are far more photos included than I would normally allow for. This is because I want to give the people who have been there a nice coverage and memories, and not follow some artistic agenda.
So this was last Thursday in Café Schmid Hansl, the famous Viennese music café in the 18th district. Besides Nesch being exited to play there, it should be mentioned that the café itself is a must-see for everyone living in or visiting Vienna.
This evening happened to be his first solo performance in Vienna, and I am glad to have been there as a friend, photographer, and luggage assistant. I am also happy that some of my friends joined!
So here we go…

After being well served with music and beer at Schmid Hansl, we moved over to Salim’s in the inner city, which is basically a fuel station for youngsters. Nonetheless we had a great time, a lot of Vodka with Bitter Lemon and some fun with the M6. Hopefully there will follow some nice black and white photos, when these rolls get developed.
While I am writing this, I already have the photos from Bratislava open in Lightroom, which will come next.
Stay tunded!
