Painting

I held back a few frames from the painting session, because I wasn’t quite sure how to arrange them or present them in a not so flat manner. How well I did it is up to the reader’s judgement.

I was almost ready to leave when Timon (I know his name from the one picture he signed on the backside here) started a solo performance. And even though Christian invited me to join them the last few minutes at Lumiere restaurant around the corner, I felt no uncertainty about what to do. More so because I liked this boy for some reason.

Not all of the paint stayed on the paper.

Eventually I got my chic coffee at Lumiere and almost missed the ubiquitous Franck branded cup. But a very nice conversation with internationally renowned Jazz journalist Davor Hrvoj more than compensated for this. And to be fair, the coffee was delicious as it gets. Davor also shoots the performers he is writing about, which can seen here. I am quite impressed, and for the gear-head-record, he uses the legendary Olympus E-1 with 14-54 Zuiko. Oh how do I miss my E-1!

Random shot on the way to Angelika’s place.

Coming next will be the exhibition at Waldinger gallery, probably tomorrow. Stay tuned.
